wow, I’m officially 30! So last Saturday was my 30th birthday, and although a lot of people tell me you feel the change, I don’t think I really did. I don’t feel much older than I was before, other than I can’t say I’m in my 20’s anymore.
To celebrate my 30th, we decided to go all out since my 29th birthday was a bust. We started the day at the Power to the Peaceful festival. It was a COLD day, however, since we had the first real rainstorm of the season, complete with crazy lightning and thunder that set off car alarms! We still made it out to the park, though, and had a blast. After the park, we headed out to Serra Bowl to go bowling! It was the first time that any of us could remember that our group of friends have ever gone bowling together, and it was everything we thought it would be. We bowled for 2 hours, drank a whole lot of beer, and I even got a real bowling pin as a gift from the alley. I attempted to make it out after that, but I was way too tired, so I came home and passed out.
All in all, it was a great day! Thanks to everyone who made it out!
